97 Douglas Street
In the spring of 2012, we were hired exclusively to market 97 Douglass Street, a vacant three family apartment building located between Smith and Hoyt Streets in the Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn, NY. The property was in very poor condition and had been vacant for a number of years which led most buyers to believe that it would be a “tear down.” We were able to generate 9 competitive offers in writing. Ultimately, we procured a buyer who was a local architect looking for a new home for their family. The signed a non-contingent contract in one week and closed in 60 days without obtaining financing from a bank.
