In the fall of 2011, we were hired exclusively to market 244 New York Avenue, an apartment building located between St. John’s Place and Sterling Place in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, NY. The property is composed of 8 three-bedroom rent-stabilized apartments. We were able to generate 8 competitive offers in writing. Ultimately, we procured a buyer who was an investment syndicate based out of Manhattan and able to obtain attractive financing from a local savings bank. They signed a non-contingent contract in one week and closed 60 days after contract signing.
