In the fall of 2011, we were hired exclusively to market an apartment building at 2311 Broadway, in the Astoria section of Queens, NY. The building was in good condition and composed of 7 apartment units. The owner was retiring and no longer wanted the obligation of managing the property. In the first 60 days of marketing the property we were able to generate 13 offers in writing what were generated by both Marcus & Millichap agents and agents from other real estate companies. Ultimately, the seller signed a completely non contingent contract with a buyer who closed “All Cash” while receiving a loan from a bank.
